I just got back from my short getaway. My friends and I went to Malaysia, a town call Sepang and stayed in a resort called Avani Sepang Gold Coast. How we ended up coming here was because my boyfriend had a convention and his company made reservations for him to stay at that resort. So by viewing his photos in instagram, my friends and I decided to try it.
How did we get there?
From Singapore we took an airplane, AirAsia, to KLIA2. It took about 1 hour from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur. Right before we exit KL's international airport, we went to the taxi counter and booked a taxi. It took almost 45 minutes to get there. Its not that far.
Whats the price like? Travelling and the stay.
For AirAsia, my tickets were bought at SGD$92. And the stay itself, I couldn't recall how much was it. (Click on this LINK to check the pricing). Cab fare was RM 54 to the location and RM 60 to the airport.
Review:
I would give it a 3.7 out of 5 as one of the best moments was watching the sunset from our villa. And we spent the day playing with the go-kart, ATV, archery and paintball at only RM 40 usual price was RM 60 to us it was considered cheap.
The cons of going there is that the service there needs to be improved, why do I say that? We went to Perahu beach where we had dinner by the beach (photos will be displayed later) and booked a seat in case there would be a lot of people there. So we ask them what time would our reservation be at? Their service staff told us that dinner is at 6pm to 10pm and we could come at any timing in between. So thinking that we could come any time, we went back to clean ourselves and when we went back he said we made reservations at 7pm and our seats we released. We wanted to walk away but we decided to stay as we were only there for 2 days and wanted to see the nice scenery. After it went well and watched some Hawaiian Dancing. FYI, its quite expensive, RM 130 and the meal was that nice.
On the day that we were about to go off, my friend and I wanted to do some Henna Tattoo before going off, so we decided to check out early and look for the place but when we asked staff for directions, they don't know where its located at and had us running here and there to look for the lady. It was very tiring for us and it was a very hot day. In the end we gave up and started leaching Wifi from the lobby while waiting for the cabby to come.
But overall, I love the stay as it was breath taking and the villa is amazing!! I would come back again! And I hope that the service there would improve better and it will make an amazing stay!
